Oden patterns game after D. Howard

It’s good to know that while Greg Oden has been out with a knee injury – he is still trying to learn the NBA and learn the game.  He has been studying the Orlando Magic stud forward, Dwight Howard.

“I’ve watched a lot of Dwight, and he was one of the guys that I looked up to when I was in college and high school,” said Oden, 19. “Seeing him first hand will be so big for me. This will be a huge scouting night for me.”

With Howard putting up stupid/good numbers this season I think Oden is watching the right guy. Just don’t watch his free throw shooting Greg!

Gaining some weight could be good

So Greg Oden has gained almost 30 pounds during his knee injury. 30 pounds of PURE MUSCLE that is.  He has kept his 7.8% body fat so it proves this is all muscle.  This guy will not be stopped once he is healthy. Can you say a young SHAQ?

Interview at GameTap with Oden

Not a lot of Oden news right now but we found this great interview with him at GameTap.com!  Check it out.

Guest Post: Acie-Law.info

Ah, yes! Another NBA superstar is on the rise. Drafted during the 2007 NBA Draft, Acie Law is slowly beginning to make his name in the basketball industry. Before the draft, NBA fans fought over who the Atlanta Hawks should pick between Conley and Law. The Hawks picked Law and they couldn’t have made a better choice. Though not much of a shooter, this 6′3″ rookie has the speed and agility to move quickly in the court.

If you are an avid NBA follower then you should be familiar with Acie Law. He is currently one of the more popular players in basketball although he turned professional only in 2007. Born Acie Law IV on the 25th of June, 1985, this 22 year old presently plays for the Atlanta Hawks. He holds the distinction of being drafted 11th overall during the selection process by his team. Among the college seniors in the pool, he was the first one to get picked and this is already an impressive feat.
